Time from Charleston:  Approx 3 hours 

I-26  to I-95 north for two exits -

Exit onto (Rt. 15 North) to Elloree.   In 2 to 3 miles  Rt. 267 branches to the leftTake 267 north past Elloree.  Just beyond Elloree, 267 goes off to the right!  Continue to stay on 267 and it will join 601 (several miles).

Continue on 601 north into “Number 1” or Rt. 1 towards Camden.

Follow Rt. 1 past the Invista Plant (formerly Dupont) on you right and over the Wateree River Bridge.

Turn left at next light - there is a Walmart shopping center at this intersection and a Kmart  on your right.  This is Springdale Road, the 521/601 bypass.

Follow Springdale Road (four lane) until it turns into two lanes.   Continue straight through the light and take a left at the flashing light (also the end of the road) onto Rt. 601/521.

Follow 601/521 north for 2 miles.

Just at the EMS station on the left, there is a “North Central High School” sign on the left hand side of 601. Take a Right at the sign onto Lockhart Road.  

Follow Lockhart road for 15 miles to the stop sign at the intersection of Rt. 341. Take right on 341.  Take your first left onto Mt. Pisgah Rd. 

(This left is only 4 tenths of a mile on 341.)

Follow Mt. Pisgah Road 8 miles through the little community of Mt. Pisgah- (an intersection with a school on the right and a fire station on the left. Continue straight).

  At the stop sign of intersection 903 and Mt. Pisgah Rd. - turn left on 903.

  On 903 you will cross over the county line to Lancaster County and there will be a fork in the road with a small green and white sign “Bermuda High Soaring” - Take the right fork and your first right on Thermal Trail. Follow Thermal Trail along the field - take a left on Lift Lane to the entrance!
