In the winter of 2007 Bermuda High lost a great instructor, and more importantly a dear friend to all of the members of BHSS.  Lou Frank said farewell at a going away party and then he passed on to a better place where the thermals are always working and the wind is always at his back.  We each miss Lou and his contributions to BHSS.  Lou's will established a Youth Scholarship Fund at BHSS for young people who need a helping hand in learning to fly gliders.  He left $2,000 to start the fund.  Jeanne, his wife, asked that donations in memory of Lou be made to this fund.  An annual report on the activity in this fund will be sent to all BHSS members.  Thanks, Lou, for the great times you shared with us and for continuing your influence on BHSS by establishing the Lou Frank Memorial Youth Scholarship Fund.
